MonkeyThings was built for the purpose of sharing our love of primates and other animals. Photography is a hobby of ours and we enjoy doing it because it doesn't require that you are able to bench press twice your own weight. We knew as we grew older it would be something that we could continue to do. It allows us to do it when we are able, and sometimes we get some good pictures. We know we have a lot to learn. One way to get better is taking pictures or video. Since film has been replaced with digital technology, it doesn't cost you every time a subject was out of focus. We believe that if you get a decent camera and start taking as many photos and videos as you can some will turn out good, but if you take a few minutes to set a shot up that some will turn out great.

We have a large Curious George Collection that is available to museums and libraries for display on a limited basis. There are probably in the neighborhood of 1000 mostly vintage Georges in our collection. We will post pictures of them soon.

We are cat people as you can see from our website. Besides video taping animals I have been in the process, as permitted, to interview Combat Veterans. This is sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse, but needs to be done for the sake of history.
